Quiz Night 2023

On Saturday the 4^th March we had our first social event of the year. The ever popular Winter Quiz night comprised of 10 subjects, 10 questions and 100 points with subjects including Chemistry, General Knowledge, Food, Nautical, Musicals and Films. Before the quiz started 30 club members & guests sat down to a good “Hearty” hot meal of Toad in the hole, with creamy mash potato and onion gravy with a choice of beans or peas.

There were 5 teams taking part in the quiz, which involved lots of competitive banter being had all throughout the evening.

There was lots of prizes for the raffle even including some hand made bowls along with chocolates, biscuits, wine and spirits.

Thanks to all of the members & guests who attended the evening and to the cooks, quiz master and committee for giving up their time to arrange these events.
